Recovery is rich and complex and occurs in every aspect of the lives of those on that journey.
Optimal Recovery Coaching Associates respect the value of recognising the recovery journey in all areas of one’s life.
One tool we encourage recovery coaches to use is multi-dimensional view of their clients’ lives. A good recovery coach fosters and values several dimensions of their client’s life: physical, occupational, social, spiritual, intellectual, environmental, financial and emotional. A client’s strengths and deficiencies across all of these dimensions is a good indication of their wellbeing and using this model is also an excellent way to assess their recovery.
We will explore each of these dimensions in future posts. The best way to understand and develop the skills needed to effectively use this excellent tool is to join us in one of our rich professional courses.
You can learn about those on our Training page.
